Soils and Mulches

Landscape/Shredded Topsoil: Shredded topsoil is a fine screened field stripped soil that is run through a shredding machine to create an even mix that is very easy to work with and rake, free of rocks, clumps and debris. It has a wide variety of applications including grading, filling low areas, and for under new sod.

Premium Triple Mix: A mixture of compost/manure, top soil and peat loam, Triple Mix is ideal for lawn and garden maintenance, and to replenish depleted garden soils. It can be used for evergreens, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Planting Soil: Planting soil offers the organic elements that are great for all planting and gardening jobs or applications. This soil is a 50/50 mix of triple mix and shredded topsoil (which adds substance and body).

Pine mulch: Pine Mulch protects and improves the soil and has many advantages: it is easy to apply and maintain; it provides a natural backdrop; and it prevents weeds. It is best for weed control and moisture retention. It comes from all-natural pine bark mulch which darkens overtime to a chestnut color.

Cedar Mulch: Cedar mulch is produced from the bark of cedar, an evergreen tree. Cedar mulch can be ground and can be dyed. It is a natural weed deterrent, and good in maintaining level moisture content in soil. It also provides a great ground cover for shrubs, trees and plants.

Red Mulch: Red mulch is popular because of the way it enhances green plants. Double dyed using organic coloring, it should not fade for two seasons. Aside from the many benefits like weed control and soil moisture retention, studies also show that red mulch improves tomatoes and strawberries production to 20%.

Black Mulch: Black mulch comes from pure wood fiber which is produced from unused wood fragments. As with Red mulch it is also colored with an organic colorant, offering the same benefits & advantages. Its sophisticated look is often desired by professional landscapers who are looking for beautiful design.
